Preface
March kinda has been my break month, I haven't uploaded anything since the end of February and March is coming to a close within a few more days. I still hope to get Issue 6 of FPR done by the end of it though, but some complications have arisen that I will need to address.
General News & Events
Current College Workload
My workload has I knew it would has increased more so now than before. I suspected I would get bombarded by assignments and due dates as soon as I got back from Spring break... So time to work on art and story has been severely limited as of late. And if that isn't enough, I got another distraction I was hoping to avoid having...
Mass Effect: Andromeda
If you don't know it by now, I'm a fan of the Mass Effect game series, and it's latest entry into the universe of Mass Effect was released earlier this week. I expected that I would not be able to play it on my laptop and as such, I wouldn't be able to play it at my dorm so I would be forced to focus on my education and comics only. But my curiosity got the best of me and I tried playing the game on my laptop to see if it would work anyways. To my pleasure and dismay, it worked perfectly despite a slight downgrade in graphics. This delights me and disappoints me, because I know how I am when it comes to games and work that is my own work not something I have to do to keep something like my grades or a job. With games, especially new ones that I love and get hooked into, I immediately put everything else non-essential and allocate all my free-time to playing said game. I often fight this, but in the end, it never works.
The only time where it has worked is if I literally FORCE myself to draw or write for anything I'm working on. This behavior of mine I discussed before and its part of how I used to live my life back when I was younger so it's imprinted on my mind. So while I hope to get FPR Issue 6 done and out by the end of March, there is a chance that won't happen due to ME: Andromeda, and my rising workload. The script itself is done, I just need to reread it and edit out parts that are not needed and or if I need to change or add in anything. And then I need to pick out some scenes to work with and arrange a cover.
Comic News
Sonic the Hedgehog Z
Currently on a hiatus until FPR is completely done and Project Adventure has begun.
Freedom Planet Resurgence Comic Scripts
Due to many distractions, Issue 6 could possibly be moved to early April release... But thats only if I manage my time well enough to fit in drawing and unhook myself from ME: Andromeda. Just now it will be done within less than a month. When the cover comes out, you'll know I'm nearing completion.
Project Adventure
I now have a good title for this comic series, so I look forward to putting it up soon once I start working on it.
The Wrap Up
March acted like my break from drawing and working honestly. My spring break I did hardly anything, and there hasn't been a single upload on my part since the ending of issue 15 of Sonic Z. Rising college workloads and Mass Effect Andromeda are to blame more so than anything for my delay in posting any artwork at all or getting a FPR script out. But it's coming still, college will end sometime in May and I'll have summer break... Though I might be having a college class over the break though, all online though...
Highlights
-Workload has increased considerable, enough to hinder my artwork time
-Coupled with workload, Mass Effect Andromeda has consumed majority of my free time left
-Sonic Z is still on hiatus, no news for it
-FPR Issue 6 may be postponed to April if nothing changes in my work habits soon this month
-Project Adventure now has a real title, no announcements of it yet though
-March ended up being my break month from artwork and story writing, but I hope to change that soon for the rest of this month and the next...

An Effort to Speed Production
Greetings everyone! I'm glad to have been able to finish issue 16 after all these years, it also means the comic is now in a single digit for how many issues are left (9). However, going forward there will be changes. While I am happy that I am able to get 1 page out per weekend, it really will take a while to get anywhere with the comic within the time frame I'm hoping to complete the series in. Even with help from my friend I simply do not have enough time or patience to sit down and focus on getting page by page out. I get tired from work easily since now it is a manual labor kind of job. Among other things the work environment isn't the friendliest right now. Hoping that will change in the near future so it'd be a lot less stress on my part. If it does get better, it may lighten the mood and make me feel a bit more motivated to do things. If not, I'm gonna be looking at other jobs and hopefully one that won't exhaust me or my time too much. Either way, I will have some new
Official Schedule of Page and Art Releases
Introduction If I didn't make it clear with two new pages and a sparkling new comic series cover (that I absolutely adore right now, puts all the others to shame) I am back and I'm ready to finish Sonic and I's journey. 9 years ago I started this comic with the intent to improve my skills as an artist, storywriter, and just to make a digital comic to post online instead of making comics for myself to enjoy. Since March 1st 2013 I've grown up as a person in more ways than one. There were good times and bad times, I'm looking at 2020-2021 specifically... But those weren't great years for a lot of people so I won't drone on about it. Instead looking toward the brighter future and I hope I made it apparent with the latest release of the Sonic Z Comic series cover for 2022 and on. Featuring more characters than I have ever included on any cover + new sights to behold that haven't been shown in the comic series yet. Please consider this is as my apology for disappearing for 2 years
Sonic Z Continues + Other News
Hey everyone! As you guys have seen Sonic Z #16 Pg 18 is out as of today. Happy 9th Year anniversary of the comic! The first pages and the cover for issue 1 were released on March 1st 2013, and I can remember a time where I was really excited to get it started. I had the goal of telling this storyline and improving my skills to get as good as my peers. A lot has changed since those youthful days when I was still in my late teens. Now I'm in my late twenties and that person I saw in the past is not the same person I am now. But fragments of that same person gleam through, wanting to see the end of this comic. And I intend to deliver. But as I mentioned in previous journals many life altering events have changed my life obviously and my work here. I was knocked out of the game for 2 years... it was all that bad. I will not continue on about what happened in 2020 from here on, its the past, and I'm moving on from that. Those involved I have no intentions to speak to unless provoked to
The Hiatus Will Be Ending Soon
Introduction Season Greetings everyone new and old here! I won't beat around the bush too much here and address the title of this journal... Yes. The Hiatus for Sonic the Hedgehog Z is ending fairly soon. I know many of you have been patient, impatient, and worried that I was never going to get back to the comic. But there were many reasons why I entered a 2 year hiatus which I plan to get into briefly to those who are interested in hearing that. But for those who wished to just know when I'm returning here with new pages, the earliest will be sometime in January 2022 and at latest March 1 2022. Otherwise known as the day Sonic Z was first released for it's 9 year anniversary. 2020 Continued as 2021, What happened to Me 2020 was arguably the worst year I've ever had in my entire life. But many people can state that considering that the world was thrust into a 'pandemic' and people were thrown into a chaotic world. Not only that, but it was a major election year here in the US

With all due respect, is enjoying Mass Effect: Andromeda really such a negative thing? I know you want to remain steady and you could certainly pull it off if you want to. But there's a time and place for everything and sometimes, this is what would help you out more. I mean, I've got projects to run too and I've been taking time here and there to play Breath of the Wild instead. Let nature take its course, I say, and enjoy the good moments while you have them.
